Trade 69 | The Carters
"I'm not sure how this usually works with your other trades... am I doing this right?" Jason had initially greeted me with a Hong Kong sim card and topped up Octopus card. "I wouldn't worry; you've been one of the most prepared trades yet."
An American-Dutch family now based in Hong Kong, Jason had initially called me across a 12 hour time difference - and in the midst of juggling a macaroni and cheese cooking session - inviting me to stay and document some of his family's time there. Comprising late night wandering around the night markets, baseball games, portraits and a range of other outings/sports that cropped up in a phenomenon eloquently described by someone else I later met: "Hong Kong kids are busy".
