Trade 50 | Neoos Design

McDonalds Server, DJ, Flight attendant, Spain, England, Norway… the list went on. Marcos had spent his early career going with the wind bouncing around a variety of odd jobs and locations. Eventually discovering, studying and pursing design Marcos settled in Nuremberg with his family. He had clearly found his craft, I thought, as I watched him adjust and straighten every detail out of place as we visited the various locations he and Udo’s agency Neoos Design had designed and built. Marcos was certainly a testament to not needing to have things figured out in your twenties. Not to mention a bank of miscellaneous knowledge as he explained the Big Mac Gherkin placement standards to me.

Neoos Design was responsible for the interior design of various cafes, restaurants, hotels, supermarkets and even a dentist’s surgery around Nuremberg including two earlier trades 44 & 45. Between Udo and Marcos they covered me to stay in Nuremberg longer with an abundance of warmth and generosity to photograph more of their projects during my second visit to the city.
