Trade 91 | Alister Yiap
Sculpture design, another career track that hadn't met with my project before. Alister is responsible for a handful of the structures that adorn Perth. Artworks such as these pop up in cities around the world and as we drove around Perth to photograph a couple of Alister's I could pick his brain to discover that they certainly don't just 'pop up' given the design part is just the first step ahead of the logistical, construction and legal hoops that have to be jumped through in the name of building part of your imagination on to the surface of a city.
