Trade 14 | Windermere Outdoor Adventure
The sky was overcast but the lake was flat and clear, broken only by the occasional ferry that left us rising and falling over the waves in its wake. A tranquil contrast to my first day. Josh and I had paddled out into the middle of Windermere Lake during my last full day here and I could have happily spent all of it in the canoe.
John and Teresa had been drafted in as a model couple of the shoot with Windermere Cruises the evening before. Chatting after the photos were done and the sun had set, John offered me the chance to head down to his summer workplace - the Windermere Outdoor Centre - to trade the following day. I couldn't say no to the 2nd opportunity to photograph from the front of canoe this project had offered.
